Technology Center

Network Operations Center (NOC)

Taking center stage at the 42nd Annual CEDPA Conference, the Technology Center, formerly known as  Network Operations Center (NOC) will feature the newest technology and trends in networking, wireless connectivity, security, and business applications.  ISA Server:  Securing Your Network; Mac OS X Mac OS X Codename “Jaguar” Centralized Management; IP Telephony; and Altiris Deployment Solution are a few of the hot topics that will be featured at the TC. 

Exciting vendor presentations also abound this year.  Cisco will be offering multiple topics with sessions on security, PIX configuration, and intrusion detection, while Dell will introduce the latest in server technology, the SAN/NAS & Blades and Bricks.  The new HP will show the latest technology in HP and Compaq products and services.  Microsoft will hold a session on its Content Management Server, a product that builds dynamic Web applications. 

Other tech sessions include Monitoring and Controlling School Networks with Total Traffic Control; Wireless versus Wired Networks; Network Integration; Best Practices for School Networks; and Network Troubleshooting.
