Network Operations Center Update

The Network Operations Center will once again be filled with high-level network gear provided by participating vendors. This year’s venue is highlighted by:

Latest switch and VOIP technology.
Administration solutions and .NET by Microsoft.
Apple OS X for server and workstation.
Video delivery with the Vbrick.
Structured cabling systems.
Storage Area Networks.
Network analysis, management and troubleshooting.

Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, Extreme Networks, AMP, Fluke, Dell, HP and Lightspeed Technologies will provide equipment and presentations for this year’s NOC. In addition, Lightspeed Technologies has agreed to foot the bill for our Internet connection. You won’t want to miss this show! For you insomniacs, there will even be wireless and wired connections available 24 hours a day.

We will have over 25 workstations available in the NOC for web browsing and email retrieval. The amount of gear will be at an all-time high with engineers from each company eager to tell you why your district or county office can’t live without their products.

Remember – this year, Monterey is not just another pretty face. The 2001 CEDPA NOC should not be missed!
