The DataBus - Vol. 37, No. 5
|
The vendor show will be on October 30th this year. It is shaping up to be the best ever with many vendors already confirmed, door prizes committed and the best conference souvenirs in recent CEDPA history. There are a few spaces still available in the exhibit area, so it you know a vendor that has not signed up, please have them call me at 805-831-8331 ext. 144.
There are over thirty booths subscribed to date. This year's exhibitors include NCS, Scantron, Microsoft, Sehi Computer Products, Data Impressions, Panduit, Novell, Madge Networks, Digitronics Software, Quest, and Bi-Tech Software. Also included are Escape Technology, Quintessential School Systems, Maplewood Computing, Ltd., BDM Education Technologies, Schoolhouse Software, Inc., ComLink, Asante Technologies, Internet Products, Inc., and Scanning Systems. More vendors are being added every day. An up-to-date list of exhibitors appears at the CEDPA website 1997 Conference Central page.
Numerous vendors have donated door prizes and/or made donations to our conference this year. Our world famous tote bags will be very nice this year and will be donated by Novell Corp. A special addition to this year's "goodies" will be a leather portfolio donated by Microsoft Corp. We will provide each attendee this year with a travel mug compliments of Escape Technology. Comlink is providing each attendee with a personalized screwdriver that each of us needs so badly on a daily basis. Each bag will also include a very nice pen for all of your important memos to the boss. National Computer Systems and Scantron Corp. will once again provide hospitality suites. Be sure to surf to the official CEDPA home page (cedpa-k12.org/) to find out about the many vendors who graciously support our organization.
I want to thank all of the vendors who have signed up as exhibitors already and those that make special contributions to enhance the conference for all of us. Once again, if you know a vendor that you would like to see at the conference, please have them give me a call or send me e-mail. See you at the show!
