VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY

Napa Valley Unified School District is accepting applications for Director of Technology. The District is seeking candidates with outstanding technological and management skills.

A valid California Teaching Credential and a valid credential authorizing administrative services are preferred, but not required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Technology develops, supervises, and manages instructional information systems including infrastructure, resource allocations, standardization, and updating a variety of technologies. The Director of Technology has overall responsibility for the implementation of any district long-range and strategic planning in technology, providing leadership and direction for the continuous updating of the District technology vision and plan; will work with appropriate departments and community agencies to insure that infrastructure development and design meet the district needs; create a district-wide technology configuration which allows the management of information including both administrative and instructional uses. The Director of Technology will serve as project manager for the New Technology High School.

SALARY INFORMATION

Placement on Current Management Salary Schedule.
Salary Range: $55,401 - $69,693
Workyear: 211 days
